Minori Morita was born in the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. She started playing the violin at the age of 5.
Minori graduated from Tokyo College of Music. While studying, she was awarded a scholarship as an excellent student.
She won 2nd prize in the 16th Yokohama Mayor's Award of the Japanese Players’ competition.
In 2013, she participated in the Kyoto International Music Student Festival sponsored by the ROHM Music Foundation. In the same year, she participated in master classes directed by Maxim Vengerov.
In 2014, she was awarded a scholarship to participate in a summer program at Salzburg Mozarteum.
She has studied with Yukiko Takeda, Takashi Shimizu, Nobuko Yasui, Yasuko Ohtani, Keiko Shimada, and Yoshio Unno.
She has played at nursery facilities and elderly care facilities.
She is a member of Teatro Giglio Showa Orchestra since 2015.
